Alumni's nostalgia

People have different reasons to enter to this place i.e. CFTRI, some are job oriented, some want to be a part of food hub of india etc. etc. but i had a strange reason for entering this esteemed institue and that was , i wanted to come out from my UG campus as i thought it would be a better option to go for a campus change and then it became the best change of my life and now i proudly say: PROUD TO BE A CFTRI'an.. "You have  any idea where u have come??" these were the first words that i heard from all of our seniors that seemed quite interesting to me. and finally after finishing my 2 years i understood why they used to say so. Best starts during GANESH CHATURTHI carries through DIWALI, X-MASS, NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS(although very next day class test isalways there), HOLI and UGADI. Heaven for all, students from different backgrounds, different cultures, and i must say different attitudes come under the same roof. Those endless parties, garden outings, ice-creams at corner house, dosa and manchurin at the gate, paranthas at CINDERELLA, baseless shopping at big-bazaar, dinners at bhataa, green leaf, rasoi, sixth main, lavazza,,,,, list is endless. O.K let's not talk about studies and exams, all are well aware. finally i must say that being there for 2 years i never felt away from home. seniors, juniors and most importantly classmates are the best gift that CFTRI gives us for free rest all it charges at nominal expenses. one thing that i'm gonna miss will be the food of our mess that is unmatchable. rest all i''ll keep singing... "THOSE WERE THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE".................

CFTRI, hmmm, Bas Nam hi kafi hai. Name of which which pulls me back to my postgrad days in nanoseconds, which suddenly gives me kind of relief and satisfaction. Though the life of very very tough for me (those exam days) but still gave me lots of things- a brand called CFTRI, a confidence called CFTRI, an invaluable experience, called CFTRI, golden moment of life called CFTRI, a circle of renowned fraternity called CFTRI alumni, and lots more....... 8-)
It gave me life, it gave me wife :P , it gave job, it gave me another job ;) , it gave me confidence to write and publish two books :ugeek: , it gave me an insight to make a forum like this............

A postgraduation in food technology was the last thing i wanted! Having given this negative statement, i also have to admit that food tech interested me once i got into CFTRI..Such is the magic of this place!...It has its own charm -what with its beautiful campus and wonderful people around...It excited me more because i was getting to stay in a hostel -all by myself![Though i would manage to run home every weekend!..running 5 KMs was'nt too difficult you see!!:)] I loved life there. I found few of the best people there who have made a permanent mark in my life. They continue to live as friends, advisers and acquaintances :). CFTRI made me realise my real interests. I understood where i belonged to in those two years at CFTRI. It gave me the confidence to seek what i wanted. On a whole, CFTRI made me a better human. I gained more on the personal front though professional tag came almost obviously!..CFTRI simply gave me another two years of wonderful life filled with experiences that continue to shape me :)

CFTRI....Kendrya Khadya Pradygic Anusandhan Kendra...."The Cheluvamba mansion"
It is always a landmark for me to reach to the destination...CFTRI...
The thing I loved most is the "Affection and Appreciation" from the people around which makes you happier after all...you wont feel like away from your nearer and dearer...
Needless to say about the professional front..."All of us falls in the Resonance catagory of Brillinace"...one or the other way :P . Food...Sunday dosa at mess, Manjunath Gobi manchurian, dinner at Bhattacharya, Samosa party in front of mess, Cup of evening tea...hope all of us miss it!!! One thing I never missed in 2 years stay is the evening walk after the dinner...sitting infront of main building...which make you forget all the rush hours from ur mind... 8-)

Its really a great learning....

Miss it always...and all of you...

CFTRI...........my dreamplace to join since I took admission in graduation in Pantnagar. I came to know about the institute from my friend's elder brother who was my senior at school, graduation & also CFTRI.
I was working for getting admission in CFTRI since then.....just to take admission, study & come out with a good job.....huh....

Never thought that I'll get beyond my imagination.....Today whatever I m (personally & professionally)its only & only because of my alma mater.......I got my "life partner"....some very good friends...who are not bound with the number of times we talk..everytime we talk we feel as if we talked very often.....I learnt lessons of life....I enjoyed my hostel life for the first time........
About the campus of CFTRI....I dont have words to explain....
CFTRI is the the word which is & will always make us proud to feel that we were, are & always remain its part...no matter wherever we'll be....
f i'll keep writing the space seems to be less...so jst want to say...Thanks CFTRI for everything...I m indebted to you

Memories still lingers me those funny chit-chat i had with my classmate and juniors in front of the mess and that particular day when one of our classmate(SHE) got very angry with our humorious comments leaving us only to eat a humble pie. Those memories still reminds my friends and CFTRI jubilant life.
